Dr. Choge is a Lecturer of Management at School of Business, Islamic University of Kenya (IUK). He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Management Major) and a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of Management and ICT. He also supervises research projects and Theses.
Choge has previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Management and Leadership at Management University of Africa (MUA) in Nairobi, Kenya, where he taught courses in management and leadership, project management and ICT related courses. He also supervised several undergraduate Projects and Master’s Theses and helped to develop curriculum for the Diploma and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BIS) and Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT) for MUA.
Choge has also worked with Kenya Airforce as ICT Officer at National Defence College, Kenya International Peace Support Training Centre, Kenya and a Senior Projects Officer – Business Strategy and Development at Serengeti Techno-savvy International Ltd, Kenya, where he was in-charge of project team and a team leader of business strategy. He has also taught in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture (JKUAT) and Taita Taveta University respectively, and Kaimosi Friends University College. He blends a wealth of experience having worked in both Public and Private sectors and now in the world of academia. He is a member of Kenya Association of Project Managers (KAPM).
Choge has published articles widely with leading international peer reviewed journals. He has also participated in international conferences as well as offering consulting services in strategy crafting and planning, project management and leadership. He maintains a bias in student mentorship and empowerment with research skills hence transforming learner environment into inspiring arena for creative minds in a multicultural setting.
