Islamic University of Kenya Introduces IUK TVET Institute, KASNEB and HRMPEB Accredited Programmes

The Islamic University of Kenya (IUK) has established the IUK TVET Institute, following its official registration by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).

This development expands the University’s academic offering by introducing practical, technical and professional training opportunities designed to prepare learners for employment, entrepreneurship and career advancement.

Through the newly established IUK TVET Institute, students can enrol in the following TVET CDACC-examined programmes:

• Information and Communication Technology — Levels 5 and 6
• Business Management — Levels 5 and 6

This news follows recent developments where the Islamic University of Kenya received accreditations from Kenya Accountants and National Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB) and Human Resource Management Professionals Examination Board (HRMPEB).

 From spetmber 2026, IUK will be offering the following KASNEB programmes:

• Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
• Certified Secretaries (CS)
• Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA)
• Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD)
• Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS)

Additionally, IUK will be offering the following HRMPEB programmes:

• Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP)
• Diploma in Human Resource Management
• Craft Certificate in Human Resource Management

The introduction of the IUK TVET Institute alongside the KASNEB and HRMPEB programmes represents an important milestone in the University’s commitment to providing accessible, relevant and career-focused education.
