The Islamic University of Kenya (IUK) continues to reaffirm its commitment to inclusive, equitable, and transformative education by forging strategic partnerships that expand access to learning and uplift communities.
In line with this vision, IUK has entered into a partnership with the Africa Education & Development Trust (AEDT), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving academic standards and supporting underprivileged learners. The collaboration aims to enhance access to quality education, provide support for disadvantaged students, and foster meaningful community engagement across the region.
Through this partnership, both institutions seek to implement initiatives that promote educational equity and contribute to sustainable, education-driven development. By combining resources, expertise, and shared values, IUK and AEDT are poised to create lasting impact in underserved communities.
The partnership was formally established through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 16 January 2026. This milestone marks a significant step forward in IUK’s ongoing efforts to leverage education as a powerful tool for social transformation and regional development.
